We work with people and we work for the people. Our belief is that it doesn’t exist a “you” at work and another “you” in your personal life, there’s just one “you” that can’t be left once the work is over. And we treat the people as we’d like to be treated.

We believe in what we do. And we want to keep learning. We completely resonate with the sentence “Alyas better, never best”. That’s it, 4 words are all that’s needed to capture what a growth mindset is all about. It’s never about being the best at something but always aiming to get better at it.

We want to continuously explore, fail, learn, and grow as individuals in order to become better human beings and better professionals. We want to help you embrace a growth mindset, and focus on continuously being a better version of yourself. Never focus on being the best. Never compare yourself to others.

We don’t spend more than we earn, we are here to stay. We will always look for sustainable profitability, relying on our own resources to grow at a natural pace. And we will stop as soon as we are in a situation that pushes us to neglect any of the previous statements. For us, the “how” is non-negotiable. Our values, beliefs, people, and our sustainable approach will always be prioritized on top of any potential revenue boost coming from the outside. We are here to contribute to a sustainable ecosystem, and we’re against empty unicorn paths and business strategies that merely focus on results and hypergrowth at any cost.

All this started some years ago. We have always been passionate about growing as professionals to improve our value delivery as organizational coaches. During our journey, we’ve been accumulating some questions that came to us and helped us explore the uncertainty in our lives:

• What are the competencies I should consider for my growth?
• What should be my next step to keep growing?
• What are the best actions I can take in a specific area?

The challenge of growing by following a meaningful journey, connected with real needs and purpose, revealed itself as an obvious need for us, and we started experimenting with a growth model for ourselves. The experience was more than positive and we started socializing it inside the organization we were part of, and with the world, too: Unchain a better you at work with a Growth Model

We were amazed by the excitement generated by our proposed approach. It seemed like we just found a significant and challenging need that currently exists in many organizations and teams.

skillsAmp roots come from our own need to grow as professionals and human beings.

In 2019, we started Sense on the beach. A little consultancy based in Barcelona, really close to the beach, that helps organizations to be set for success by focusing on effective value delivery, connecting them with their true identity and inner values, and the why’s behind every decision they make.

We believe that a company’s value delivery depends 100% on the impact offered by its teams and leaders. And that’s why we work hand-in-hand with them with a “craftmanship” approach.

We don’t work with out-of-the-box solutions. Our first step is always observation, conversation, and active listening. Working with present human beings that take part in a connected collective is the way to generate a long-lasting impact.

The idea of developing the proper tools to help companies consciously face their needs came as a natural step. skillsAmp is our first contribution to an ecosystem of sense-driven products.
